Tour Highlights & Info

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours offers guests an experience unlike any other, highlighting the Niagara River’s history, scenery and geography.

Our fully guided adventure tours start on the lower Niagara River into the Niagara Gorge in a Wet Jet (wet trip) or Freedom Jet (wet or dry trip) at 55mp/hour. Over the past 12,000 years the turbulent currents from Niagara Falls have carved out an 11 km gorge, and this is the white-water playground for our fleet of eight boats, ready to take you on an experience of a lifetime.

As you speed along the Lower Niagara River in this truly one-of-a-kind jet boat, our river guide will tell you all about the fascinating history of the Niagara area, local points of interest as well as the mechanics of the impressive vessel you are touring in.

Highlights of your round trip will include the power plants of the Niagara Gorge, the 175ft. stone wall canyon, and the Whirlpool Aero Car.

But, our jet boat tours are more than just the historical nuances of the Niagara area. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to comfortably experience what is commonly referred to as the “Mount Everest” of white water.

The fun really begins when we take you up to the famous Niagara Whirlpool and through the Class 5 ‘Devil’s Hole’ rapids.

Our highly trained staff operate our boats with triple turbo diesel water jet systems, a design that is incredibly reliable and safe, but also delivers a fun and exhilarating ride!
