Our Guest Services Agents are the first team that our guests meet, whether on the phone or checking in at the front desk – and first impressions are always important. They are our human encyclopedias and have the answer to any jetboating question. For this position you must have a natural talent for customer service and love meeting new people (and getting them excited for the ride of their life!). If chatting is what you do best, you’ll fit in perfectly.

RETAIL & CONCESSION SALES AGENT

Our Retail & Concession Sales Agents are the perfect mix between barista and sales person (is that even a thing? Here, it is!) With rotating shifts between our River Shop Café and Retail Desk, they’ll be brewing coffees one day and helping guests pick out souvenir sweaters the next day. If you love interacting with people and thrive in a position with variety, this may be the perfect job for you. For this position you must have a natural talent for customer service and are skilled at selling lots of magnets. The ability to brew the perfect cappuccino is considered an asset.

We're looking for someone who has perfected the art of vacuuming and has excellent attention to detail. CAPTAIN - TRAINEE
Oh Captain, my Captain!
Our Jet Boat Captains have one of the most important roles at Whirlpool Jet. They operate our triple-turbo diesel vessels through our whitewater playground - the Class V rapids of the Niagara Gorge. A commitment to safety, professionalism (and taking guests on the ride of their lives!) is essential for this position. If you want to be the driver behind 1500 horsepower & 31,000 lbs of thrust, then this is the job for you! Current First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred but all training and certifications are provided in-house for successful candidates.

The Dock Hand is the go-to guy or gal for our Captains and Trip Leaders. They assist with gear, passenger loading and all things jet boat maintenance – getting to enjoy all the action from the comfort of our jet boat docks. If you’re a stickler for organization & cleanliness, and love meeting new people, then this is the perfect job for you. The ability to hype up a crowd before their tour is considered an asset.

Our Digital Media & Retail Agents have the perfect mixture of creative flair and people skills. They capture and edit all of the photos and videos of our tours, for sale in our Retail River Shop. You may ask, ‘how do the guests look so good while getting pummelled in the face with water?’ It’s an art and our DMR Agents are the experts. For this position, you must like making people smile and have a love for the digital arts. The ability to sell lots of magnets is considered an asset.
